A Rainbow

My heart leaps up when I behold 
A rainbow in the sky : 
So was it when my life began ; 
So is it now I am a man ; 
So be it when I shall grow old, 
Or let me die ! 
The Child is father of the Man ; 
And I could wish my days to be 
Bound each to each by natural piety! 
하늘의 무지개를 보면 
내 가슴은 뛰는구나 
내 어릴 때도 그러했고(직역:내 인생이 시작되었을 때) 
어른이 된 지금도 그러하고 
늙어서도 그러하리 
그러지 않다면 차라리 죽는게 나으리라. 
아이는 어른의 아버지 
내 하루하루가 
자연의 숭고함 속에 있기를...
